What are you comparing that too? It is one of the fastest if not the fastest 600cc bike out there. I have nothing to complain about the 600RR. All the magazines have tested it as being one of the best 600's.

I really don't understand why a 10 second quarter mile isn't fast enough..
A good rider on a 600 will DECIMATE a mediocre rider on a liter bike.

heard the only drawbacks to this bike was the lack of stunting ability . . . was told that the bike is really hard to get up off the ground for wheelies, due to its design with a focus on more of a racing style . . .

damn sweet looking bike though

j/j foo

yea the unit prolink rear suspension really helps keep the back wheel planted.

still if u wanna stunt, get a liter bike.

I've heard the opposite since they are so light compared with other 600s

:dunno:

actually the rr is not the lightest of 600s . . . it's definitely heavier than the 2003 r6

Don't kid yourself, the 2003 Kawasaki ZX6R is THE fastest 600cc class bike both on the drag strip and at the track.

And the 2004 GSXR is supposed to get a titanium valvetrain next year and have a redline of 16,500 rpm

Every 600 on the market is a great bike to have, its just personal preferance. My advice is to go and test drive your heart out.

lol
u obviously dont know your bikes. if honda wants to make a bike competitive, surely it wont be handicapped like that. instead of just hearing what people say (clearly they no nothing), try researching the info for yourself.

oh yea cbr600rr is only like 10lbs heavier

I just read this in p3nnywi5dom's reply I few above this one.

All talon TSI's are full time all wheel drive.... I really hate how ppl think they know something because of some statistic they heard some where from some stupid guy and spread it on here.... Jeez... ESIs are FWD only where as TSIs are AWD all the time.... You cant buy a FWD TSI talon.... Rich

You must not know very much about talons at all. Since I own a '92 TSI FWD. do your research.

600RR is like Faster 600cc out there so I dont' see how its simply not fast enough.
its too expensive (relative to other 600's).
and its got controlled body flex design, so meaning you can't stunt with it as easily.
Definitly shouldn't be a first timer's bike.
no other bad things are there, not like the ones i listed are like really bad anyways...

it doesnt matter which 600 is faster, we cant tell the difference.

For some people, it is plenty fast. For others, it may feel too slow.
I found most 600's to have very little torque before 6000rpm. That is just fine but you have to rev the shit out of it to get any power. If you go with a bigger displacement engine, the torque comes on sooner in the rpm range.

Strictly a personal prefrence.
