May Long plans?

Hey,
Just kinda bored right now... since it's going to be such a beautiful weekend, I'm wondering what everyone plans on doing for the long weekend?? I'm gonna go golfing if I can get a babysitter! If not, maybe just take a trip with the fam to Banff or something.

6th annual May long houseboat trip. We started with 2 boats.
My Brother organized it, and I only know about 1/4 of the people who'll be there, at least that's how many I'll know at the start.

Haha that houseboating trip sounds deadly. I tried organizing one 2 years in a row and never had enough interest... sucked!!!


Okay someone mentioned the beach. Are there any actual beaches around Calgary that are less than an hour away (i.e. don't say Sylvan). I'm used to having a beach at every lake in Saskatchewan but I've yet to find a nice close one here.

Hmmm Kootenays sounds nice too... me and my bf usually do our annual golf trip on May long, but since it's been soooooo shitty, rainy, and cold the past couple years we decided to wait. OF COURSE... stupid weather.

Going to the lake, going to put the boat, pier and hoist in the water. Then put on the wetsuit and go for a waterski! Nothing like the shrinkage you get from waterskiing on a lake where the ice just went out last weekend... :D

It was alright. Camping wasn't as much fun without my bike, and some of the people that came along weren't the best company. I did get right fucking shittered every night though, so it was all good.

Drank till sunrise, slept till noon, cooked some food over the fire, and hit the booze again. High light of last night was some older lady that was just shit faced, and she started to choke on her booze ( down the wrong pipe lol ) and she pissed herself.

Just got back from Edmonton. Worse drive back ever. Semi-trailers and trucks with trailers/5th wheels chillin' in the left lane doing 100km/h, holding up traffic. It was driving me nuts!
