yes, it's vtec. it is d16z6 sohc vtec

yes its perfectly clear, that you do not have vtec.
you're valve cover should say it is vtec.

dude it doesnt need to say vtec on the valve cover, look behind the breather and you see a vtec selonide. I seen this car in person when he baught the ngk wires off me, it is vtec. and its taken very good care of!

- the only way to actually know if its a D16Z6, take a pic of the engine model # then we will know if it is truly a vtec engine

it's old close shoot of valve cover which is rare! and I'll take a pic of the engine model # tomorrow.

Wrong, you fail. The D16Z6 is designated at the block and someone can easily swap the head to a non-vtec head so that is NOT the only way the tell. The Vtec solenoid is but thanks for coming out.
