Where is a good place to learn basic Jiu-Jitsu? I dont want to become a MMA fighter, just learn locks, arm locks, leg locks etc etc

lol....one of the few asian guys who goes to bjj no-gi classes. I'll be there tonight :thumbsup: I'm going to start kickboxing and hitting up Nick's classes, maybe next week....

ah...well, say hi when you see me on tuesday for kickbxing, man. i'm the filipino guy with the white gloves and white/black/red shorts. :thumbsup:

lol, phil...whatever, man, you're baller!!! classes are so big now, though...

to the OP: as suggested, bdb is a great place to train. friendly people and awesome instrcutors! i do wish they have weights, though. on that note, why not check out fighters' nation? they've got bjj classes as well as weights...

Hey, Yes we have probably one of the best BJJ coaches in all of Canada, 3rd degree Black Belt Anderson Goncalves... He is the former trainer from team Punishments Tito Ortiz and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. You can see him cornering most of Rampages KOTC USA fights.

Good luck, My advice is try out all your top 3 choices and go witht he one that suits you the most.
