FS: 86MR2 for parts

Red MR2 for parts. After 12 years or so it's time to move on. Body has usual rust, doors are good. Has the stock side skirts and spoiler. 300K+., Burned a cam seal so I parked it about a year ago. Daily driver to that point. Good brakes, reasonable interior. I'm going to miss it, but it's gotta go by the end of the month. $60.00 OBO and you haul it away.

Tranny too, it pops out of 4th gear.

I put a new windshield in a few years ago, and the windsheild shop had to put a lot of epoxy into the windshield header to fill rust holes before they could install the new one. That windshield now has a couple of short cracks in it from a tire shop jacking it up by one wheel - I took that as a sign that the tinworm was winning. There has been a road dust leak into the interior for years that is really annoying and I could never find.

It is really noisy because the side windows wistle like crazy and the tranny is really noisy.

The car does not look that bad, and everything except the engine and tranny work OK but really, i did not think it was worth fixing.

Of course for 60 bucks and a whole lot of work....

I can throw in a set of winter tires and wheels for another 40 bucks too!

FWIW, this MR2 was by far the most fun winter car I have ever owned.

Honestly, I have no idea. The Rear quarters are both gone behind the rear wheels and there is rust ahead of the drivers side rear wheel well. It is an Alberta car, so the rust is not general, but the usual spots have it fairly bad. It was a daily driver (4 seasons) parked in a heated garage.

Last I saw of it, it was putting down Sarcee Tr. in a cloud of smoke... I don't think the smoke was from all the power at the rearwheels :thumbsup:
