Hey guys,

my girl has a new '08 Mazda MS3 and her dad took ti for a spin and curbed a rim  . It's a pretty light curb, a few inches long. Where should I go to have it repaired, and what's the usual cost for repairing a curbed rim?

Alberta wheel repair. Pretty much the only place to go. It cost me $160 each rim a few years back to fixed my curb-rashed rims.

If it's really light and the rims are polished, not painted or chrome, you can probably sand it out yourself.

I did mine last summer, very light scratch on about 1/5th of the lip. I just got some 400 grit and smoothed it a bit, then wetsanded with 1000 and 2000. I should have clearcoated but got lazy.

I can't even tell where it was. Hell, I can't even tell which rim it is, and I can pick out every flaw in my paint down to the smallest detail.

you may want to look somewhere else, i have had bad experiences with Alberta wheel repair in the past, and have also heard other stories. They did the shittiest welding job on one of my wheels, looked horrific and couple days later it cracked again.
