:drama:

Only in America...

I love this part:

Every buyer so far "except one guy from Canada and one old guy" has elected to take the gun, Muller said. Muller recommends his customers select a Kel-Tec .380 pistol.

"We all go to church on Sunday and we all carry guns," said Muller. "I've got a gun in my pocket right now. I have a rifle in my truck.

That quote right there pretty much sums up why I'm glad I don't live in the US.

They have been doing this for years. It was on one of Michael Moore's movies.

That was if you opened a bank account... which i think is easier than buying a car.....

He's just sitting there in a room flipping through a catalog of rifles... "This one..."

i thought you had to go thru a 4 day wait period before they give you a gun to check if you are crazy...

you do... it says in the article that with the car he gives you a voucher for a gun and you need to redeem it at a gun-shop and go through the proper procedure.

a gun is always a good way to make someone co-operate.. unless you live somewhere, where everyone has a gun.. then no one co-operates.

I don't get why this is a big deal - the dealer's got a promotion where you can choose between a $250 gas card or a $250 credit at a gun shop. You could just as legally have this same promotion in Canada, I would think, except that you'd need an FAC in Canada before you purchased your gun.

Pretty smart car dealer, to get huge exposure, and all from giving out a huge $250 bonus per car...

At least in the US, it's not only the criminals that have guns...
