I'm gonna try my hardest, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna make it. So much stuff going on in my personal life again, not sure I can spare the time.

Here's the deal for those of you who are interested. Registration cut-off is at 6:00 sharp, you won't be allowed to run if you show up after that. The event tomorrow is on the south end of the road course. We run until we run out of daylight generally. Only safety requirements are a Snell 95 or newer, M or SA rated helmet. Cost is $25 for calgary sports car club members, or $35 for non-members. You are guaranteed a minimum of four runs, and then fun runs until we are sick of being at the track and don't have any more light to play wtih. I likely won't be at the event running, although I will be out to drop off the timing equipment and suchlike earlier. if you do happen to catch me at the event, drop by and say high (for those of you who don't know, its the silver impreza with the OZ wheels and big ass light bar on the front).

And oh yeah, spectators don't have to pay admission or anything, just shwo up whenever.

If you don't catch 4wheeldrift in time you can come by the timming area (before the event starts) and come look for me or crowd around the blue neon.

Be there Early if your a rookie so then you can ask questions and get a walk through.

Note: there is no exception to the 6:00 rule. You will not be able to run if you do not meet the cut off time.

***
Here are some don'ts (I'll have to sit with 4wheeldrift and a bunch of the other guys/girls and make up a nice FAQ)

Race City Speed limit: 10 kms
(pretty much first gear roll in)

The Drag strip is not HOT - so do not do burn outs, donuts or 1/4 mile trials or...

Drive through the pit lane - don't use the drag strip.
(This is so that you don't throw rocks or other material on the drag strip - keeps it clean)

There's a bunch more but these are the important ones that I can think of. It's pretty much common sense I hope. The facility is rented so please respect the place.

Man, you guys are lucky, you guys have your autoX at RaceCity. The autoX's in Edmonton are so small :(

I'll be there tonight. My car won't be ready, no time to break in the brakes. I'll be driving Kenny's car most likely.

I scared the shit out of many people as I drifted past an RSX on Groat Road. I stayed in my lane and everything, it was a beautifully (slight luck) executed 4 wheel drift around the entire corner... wow I was so proud :) I miss that road.

And just to steer things back on topic... congrats rage on the 44.5!

I had a blast, i've never driven the truck like that before and it was quite the learning experience! I don't think there was a cone there that i didn't hit, fuckin truck is wider then it feels. Besides my rather poor driving skills i had a blast and wish i could have made it out to more this year. thanks to all the peeps that put it on, just one suggestion, need to bring out more pens next time!
