I will be definitely be hitting up track day as well as every other possible event next year when the MR2 is done but I have one concern...will my EGT readings go through the roof and will I encounter any problems. Could running the turbo fairly hard for that long result in any damage. I'm sure it wil be fine but just curious.

Your EGT's will go through the roof if your timing or A/F ratio's not tuned right.

You should be fine. Rage's 944 was running all day at monday's lapping day.

Every car is different but if your car is running as it should your EGT's will never rise to a point where it will damage your engine.

I'd be more worried about damage from inadequate cool down time after a session. As long as the car is in a good state of tune you should have no trouble.
