i have a bolt that has twisted and snapped off so the threads are logged in a metal body.

is there a machine shop in that that can drill out the bolt for me and rethread the hole?

im not going to do this myself so any recommendations will be helptful

thanks

i sell left-hand drill bits and screw extractors at my work. it would be easy to take out yourself for around $20

ill take a pic ,

where do u you misterrick? im not sure if it would be easy to take out...
the bolt twisted and snapped off because it go so tight (probably due to warped threads) that i could not turn it clockwise OR counterclockwise.

Be real careful if you do attempt it yourself, if that extractor breaks off in the bolt it's gonna cause problems.

man i just had this problem with my hood. when i was taking off my old hood to instal my carbon the boltheads snapped off. all i did was threw some grease in the holes, let it sit overnight... came out the next day and drilled the hole out and re-threaded it with a threading tool. all in all probably took me about 30 minutes.
