great idea of a thread, i would LOVE to see some of the beyond ballers houses, BUT... dont you think with 47,000 members on here, there are of course the few douches lurking the boards and public information made readily available, dont you think it'd be easy to find out where the person lives and possibly B&E? If in your pics you show of some fancy smancy stuff?

posters have been forewarned.

Thats a good warning to everyone posting stuff like that. blur out addresses etc. But if someone wants to target you, they can do it whether you post pics or not. but good advice, none-the-less.

thanks Bimmer...yeah I LOVE my bbq!! added couple more pics. That room with the TV and onto the patio is actually off our master bedroom. The living, dining and kitchen is at the other end of the house. It's a weird layout. when there's a party everyone has to walk thru our bedroom to get to the rest of the house. Almost like a "swingers" pad lol.

I make them ---> tables (http://s123.photobucket.com/albums/o312/CalgaryDave/All%20poker%20tables/)
Here's one I built for Reg Hampton of Global TV Pedestal table (http://s123.photobucket.com/albums/o312/CalgaryDave/Pedestal%20table/?albumview=slideshow)

I might be convinced to sell the burgundy/light birch table.

Kobe: yeah I seal that slate about once every few months or so. Plus it is heated as well --> install pics (http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h313/Dave_n_Heather/Flooring%20progress%20Pics/?albumview=slideshow)

LOVE that bar, Iceburg!! I just might re-do mine with glass block...man that's slick! Are the colored lights inside the block or behind it? Neon? Also what kind of floor is that? looks like terazzo.

Oh and G-zus....I'm in Canyon Meadows.

ICEBERG
05-25-2008, 04:52 PM
^^^ Thank's... The floor is Terrazzo. I had a Italian guy do it for me few years back. Turned out awsome. I don't know what they used but it looks like marble and portland cement. During the installation process i got them to put in additional marble chips on the surface, so at least 70 percent of the exposed surface is marble.

The lights on the bar are from the inside. They are neon. I'll try to take more pics. of the basement when i get some free time.

Here are a couple of pictures of my basement dedicated home theatre. It isn't 100% complete with the finishings etc., but almost. 7.1 setup, 2 - 10" subs, 92" screen:

http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g117/Southey2002/P1030154.jpg

Here is a picture of my first theatre of sorts, although not dedicated. 40" Sony Bravia, 5.1 sound, 12" woofer:

And lastly, for any of you folks who don't have any morals, values etc., here is a pic of one of my control pads in the house for my heavy ALARM system:

I have. Its a 720p projector, and I have an SVGA Cord that runs from the Proj to the table between the chairs in the front row.

I did this originally with the thought toward a Media PC, but lately its just been hooked up to my laptop and used for occasional gaming.

Games on the big screen are not bad.

I did drop off some pictures with one of the hottub places and they just hand out my biz cards. I've done a couple of tables that way. Most of those games places have either $199 crap tables or, as one place had, a $14,000 ornate poker table that looked gorgeous..but was hardly a "poker player's table".

I try to cater to the working stiff that wants a good solid official casino-grade table.

I was actually thinking of putting up a booth at the upcoming Interior Design show in September. But they cost a good 5 g's...so I'm just not sure..plus the time involved. I love working with wood and furniture..maybe...I'll see.

Our abode, from our first year, paints changed throughout the upstairs now, a couple of pines are gone from the backyard, and the basement has been demolished (10,000lbs of brick, plaster, and lathe according to the scales at the dump  and is currently being rebuilt.

Many more things to be done before we're happy. I'll put more up after the basements done (hopefully only a couple more months)

Here are a few exterior pics as well as an old one with the car out front. Typical cookie cutter house siding onto the park which is the best thing about it in my opinion.

I hope more people put up their pics. I am not sure if it is a privacy issue, people don't like to show off the things they work hard for or there aren't as many ballers on this site as one would expect.

all the windows slide open. which lets most of the moisture out and the stand is designed so we can take the tv off and not leave it in there. We're getting a love seat and bar and poker table in there for the summer. It's pretty sweet. Although it's not my house it's my brother in law's place but I will be living here until school is done with. Which is going to be roughly another 5 years so it's basically my crib for now hehe.

Lifts the G off the ground when it floods so the baller wheels don't get soaked in blue-collar water.

You can see the "lift" under the car. For working on it I guess, although why wouldn't you put this in the garage instead of outside?

Here's a pic of our current house...it's for sale.

PICS (http://www.mls.ca/PropertyPhotos.aspx?propertyID=6557953)

anyone want to buy it?

New crib currently under construction in Crestmont. It's the same layout as the house in the gallery section of Augusta's site. Master bedroom has a coffee bar in it...so cool.

I hope more people put up their pics. I am not sure if it is a privacy issue, people don't like to show off the things they work hard for or there aren't as many ballers on this site as one would expect.

Probably both. Not so many ballers, and privacy.

I'll show one of the places I live in. It's definitely not located in this province. And yes, I live on top of a Subway. No, I do not get free sandwiches. :( Someone will recognize the place I'm sure :D

Nothing too spectacular here. My little infill in Crescent Heights! These pictures were taken years ago when the home was first listed for sale. I'm too lazy to take any current pictures!

The outside from the train, literally about 100 feet away and right on the Hudson River. There's a water taxi that goes from here to downtown Manhattan every morning.
