I would like to know from fellow new car owners (first owner, picked car up from dealership) how much "maintenance" you do on your car. It lists in the owners manual to check oil level, winshield washer fluid level, tire pressure etc. EVERY time you fill up.

How many actually do?
How often?

I can't see someone spending 70k on a BMW and have BMW expect them to check their oil every time they fill their gas up...

Once a month, just because I don't fully trust the car computer that's supposed to tell me when anything is low.

How old is your car? You feel the need to check your oil every 2nd fill?

I am talking about brand new cars, not 10 year old ones.

During break-in, I obviously checked the oil at every gas fill up...but otherwise, no, why would I waste my time checking anything else? It's not like any seals or gaskets are aged...

To be honest i check that stuff about once every month or two. If i were driving a beater then i'd keep an eye on that stuff but i know my ride's in good shape.
