I need a tranny jack to lower/raise the differential pumpkin on my S13. It weights a good 70 pounds or more. Anyone have one I can rent or borrow? Or know where I can rent one?

A lot of people suggested I use a normal floor jack. But thing is no one wants to help me on my car (good friends huh?) and that would be a bit hard to do with just 2 hands.

... and i just noticed i screwed up the title. grammer police is going to be on my ass now.

just use a jack. Place the 2 subframe bolts in, put your driveshaft on than your axles. BAM your done

Easy, use floor jack on diff to raise end up,
place 2 lifts at the front sub-frame bushings,
lower floor jack abit, diss the dif and jack it down.
You have to diss the shaft as well.
It is best to have 2 ppl though, but can do it yrself.
I'd diss the axles first,

so i'd have to lower each jack a little at a time? i'll take a look tomorrow. I need to swap axles as well, so they are coming out.

My awd trans is 120 and I'm throwing it in and out by hand, man up!

.. motorcycle jack will work too I think.

yea i say man up, it cant be that bad, and if you have a decent jack around you shouldnt have a problem.
