Upgrades/Modifications/Repairs:
All upgrades were done to change the image of the car. I did not like how many Jettas were on the road that all looked the same. So i made this one look unique.
Modifications include:
Angel eye/HID headlights
Kamei Grill
Black OEM rims
Smoked Taillights (Red-Black pattern)
LED License Plate lights (as seen on newer lexus')
LED Interior Lights
7" In dash DVD/MP3/CD player (with remote)
Playstation in glovebox (with wireless controller and games)
MOMO Pedals (great grip with wet feet) (Have OEM one as well)
MOMO Steering wheel (Have OEM one as well)
Wolfsburg edition came with firm sport cloth seats and a upgraded suspension.
New clutch
New wheel bearing
Always Synthetic Oil Changes
Always Premium Fuel
About the Car:
I bought the car last year from a lady who drove from Ontario to Calgary on a regular basis. It had 185000km when i bought it. Took it into my mechanic and he said it was a great vehicle. The car is 99% rust free. Brakes have about 30% on the front and 50% on the rear. Tire tread is about 60%. I have a passion for european cars and how well they are made. I am selling this VW because i honestly get bored of cars. This was by far my favorite european car i have owned. (compared to 2 bmw's and a older mercedes).
The bad:
I came out to the car one morning and it had some fairly bad scratches on the rear driver side door.
Took a rock to the windshield that cracked and spread about 70% across before i could get it filled.
The lady before me had a bug/rock deflector on the hood and when i took it off it was rusting and worn out underneath. (i was told this was because that part of the paint never saw light/sun). There is also a long scratch on the hood.
I have always stuck smaller MOMO steering wheels on my cars because i cant stand large steering wheels. ( i feel like im driving a bus without one) This MOMO wheel wasnt made with a airbag.
At first i had the play station in where the passenger airbag was, i realized how stupid this was for taking that airbag out and relocated the Playstation. So both driver and passenger currently do not have airbags in. I do have them for the buyer if/when they wish to re stick them in.
