Anyone here work on a seismic line crew (not driller)? I used to long ago, and was just curious what the hourly wages were these days (not that I want to go back, we were just discussing it at work the other day)

It still starts at like $13 an hour plus overtime.. it's sickening people do that job for such little pay

Not a big increase in the 8 years since I left then, lol. It's always been the bottom of the barrel of the oil field. The overtime is where you made your money. $13/hour would be about $75g a year, and it's no where close to as dangerous as a rig.

Not horrible though, I mean when I was 18 and started, I thought it was a decent job for someone right out of school who didn't know what they wanted to do. I got paid to smoke dope, hike mountains, drive a quad, and fly in a helicopter all day. , and have summers off as well.
