Hey,

I'm starting a new 365 project on Flickr using an object and I've chosen Domokun for that.

I have a Domokun piggy bank that I bought in Vancouver last year but it's way too big to lug around to take photos with.

Anyone know where I can find stuff like Domokun in Calgary?

Dragon City Mall has a bunch of shops that sell stuffed things like Domo-kun.

Sweet...time to head to Chinatown...thank god I have nothing to do at work!

They sell them at Discovery Hut in Chinook, it's by the Sears end. I saw them there and I almost bought one. They have two sizes, small one is $29.99 and the big one is $49.99, the big one is the better deal because it's more than double the small one's size.

Also, I think the ones in Chinatown are usually fake, so if you want the real ones go to Discovery Hut.

Just got back from Chinatown, they didn't have any there in Dragon City or the two smaller gift shops I went to in Chinatown.

I'll try Discovery Hut later today.

Update: Discovery Hut in Chinook

They actually have three sizes. Small (6"), Medium (10-12") and then they have this HUGE one (20-24") as well!

Thanks for the tip, got myself the small one which will cram nicely in my camera bag next to my D300...it'll add some more cushion to the bag as well :)
