Spotted: Ford Focus SVT (TURBO)

Coming back from eau claire ( walking ) with 5 of my buddies or so going through two of those 2 lane streets form eau claire and then i hear a focus behind me going slowly and I hear a turbo inside the engine wihtout the turbo kicking in. and we where at a red light and he just came and he had some music on and then he was talking to his girlfriend and i am like "rev it up" he does't say anything just looks straight it turns green i am like "Hey buddy" while he was about to take off he turns the music down hes like yo? I am like you got a turbo in there dont ya hes like yeah.. I am like LETS HEAR IT!. then the guy revs it up and fucking floros it and did that thing fucking fly he was on the other light under 2-3 seconds. when he took off some guy yelled "Get a real car" ROfl and he was walking himself. Anyways it was a brand new 2003 ford focus svt blue color with custom black rims it was tight. anyone else seen this bad boy around?

what the fuck u talking about? i said the turbo kicked in after the guy reved it up on the green light and flew off he was cruising at 20-30 km/h before he came to the red stop. Sorry i am clumsy at explaning this bullshit i failed english. English is my 4th language

Your explanation is fine. But it doesn't make any sense. You don't just hear a turbo "kick in", especially at a light.

i just dont understand what you mean by "kicking in".

when a turbo car revs up you can usually hear a whine, and then when the driver lets off the throttle, there is a release of air from the blow off valve..........

I think that those are two separate things. A turbo can spool up and not be engaged. I think by 'kick in' he is talking about the turbo actually being engaged.

By the way BOV is a Blow Off Valve i think you need to brush up on your knowledge before running out with all this Crazy talk. Turbos take time to spool but they don't just suddenly Kick in haha.?? Weird<

I know a guy on here that always auto X's a Blue SVT foucus his user name is something like 95fastpony i think! hes a good guy maybe it is him that's going turbo?
