Details:

You've all read a lot about this car. I've spent thousands of dollars making this car the machine she should have been right from day one. She has a little bit more to go to fulfill my vision, but sadly she can't stay with me much longer.

I'm in Calgary right now and I've decided to move back. The car is in Calgary, and will be staying in Calgary when I leave to go back to Ontario in late June. She is originally from Virginia, has no rust, but has a tumultuous past.

She HAS been in a front end collision- you can see that repair has been done. there are some gaps on the front end between the hood and the headlight housings, though it's not brutal. I was going to have a shop do 'er up, and I still might. We'll see if someone wants the car as is or not.

Mechanically, she runs beautifully. Gen III engine, 96 TRD LSD transmission, and a couple of bolt-ons. She spools and pulls hard, as Avow can probably attest to ;)

I just installed a new stereo, and literally JUST installed it last Wednesday: Pioneer 8" slim-mount sub, custom box, Kicker 400.1 amp, Pioneer CD/MP3/Aux-in player, Kicker 6.5" components in the doors, stock POS's in the rear, and a capacitor.

Passenger side T-Top leaks slightly, though it's nothing too terrible. I was going to get the seals redone, but once I realized it was like a drop or two every now and again during heavy rains I said "eff it" and just left it. The t-tops themselves are in great shape, no cracks or major scratches.

The interior was just detailed as well, though it's gotten a bit dirty again. I'll probably detail it for the next owner, including an exterior wash/wax.

This car was originially a non-turbo, and still has the non-turbo decklid. Does not burn oil. Has a SMALL leak at the tranny, but it's not enough to worry about. I changed the fluid at the start of the season and it had hardly dropped.

Please understand that this car has some quirks (leaky t-top), as all MR2's seem to. However, mechanically it is sound and well. I changed ALL fluids and performed over $2,000 in preventative maintenance in May, along with $5,000 in after-market parts, rims, etc.

For a full mod list, see below.

Mods:

+ 1996 JDM Gen III Engine
+ 1996 TRD LSD tranny
+ 1994 Brake rotors (bigger)
+ GReddy Type-S BOV
+ Turbosmart manual boost controller (set at 10psi)
+ 17 x 7 front, 17 x 8 rear 5 star staggard rims w/ new tires (85% tread left all around). New as of May.
+ TRD short shifter
+ Stereo w/ sub, amp, cap. New as of last Wednesday.
+ Tein SuperStreet 16-way adjustable coilovers (BRAND NEW as of MAY).
+ Walbro 255lph fuel pump included, not installed.
+ Wideband AFR/boost guages in side pillar.
+ 94 Tails w/ JDM center piece.
+ 94 JDM spoiler.
+ Shaved antenna.
+ JDM CD console (included, not installed)
+ JDM clear corners included, not installed. These are AUTHENTIC. See my drunken post I made a few weeks ago.

Things I WOULD do if I keep it:

+ Get a better exhaust (the current one is a previous-owner hackjob piece of crap).
+ Bigger injectors + EMS + more boost.
+ show the front end a little bit of love.

This car will need an OOP as it is still registered in Ontario.

Oh, also, though I do want to sell it, I am not going to accept serious lowballs and I am not in a huge rush to sell.

Can you post pics of the damage? I really can't see paying $12K for a crashed car with some 'quirks' unless it's REALLY minor.

The damage is clearly visible in the pics I've got posted. It's doesn't look like damage, per say- the gaps look a bit bigger, as in the panels aren't aligned perfectly. I notice shit like that, most people probably wouldn't.

And the quirks I'm referring to are the leaky T-top, the homemade exhaust, etc.

Sorry, 3 of the four pictures are of the rear of the car. The one from the front is far from a close-up. Can we see some more specifics on the panels not lining up- if it was worth mention, its worth showing.

Dude, that last picture shows it. That's it. That's the gap I was talking about- that extra .25" on the left side. Seriously.

I'll go take some better pictures, but it will show the same thing :)

Bump - price dropped to $9,000. Just purchased another car and moved back to Calgary. This needs to go.
