I have for sale the D2A/DMS drive that was in my launch day wii. For whatever reason the drive failed on me about 2 weeks ago. It is not spinning the disks up. Other than that it worked fine, laser needed a POT adjustment to run SSBB but after that all was great.

If you run it with the cover off the drive will spin about 1/64th of a turn, then it looks like it is stuck. Someone with a bit more knowledge than me with electronics may be able to replace the motor, or just free it up.

The drive also has a fully functional "YAOSM" drive chip on it. It was mounted externally on the case for testing purposes, and easy upgrades. I am looking for $40 for the drive

I also am selling my original White Case. I replaced the drive with a rebuild unit, and also replaced the case with a sleek gloss black one. The case is not in the greatest shape, but it holds the wii together just fine. There are 8 tiny holes drilled in the back by the USB port for my external mod chip install. Also the one top cover for the GC controllers has been broken off and is missing. I am giving the cover away to the first person at my house to take it!

All parts are in Airdrie. Because of the cost being so low I expect you to come out to pick up.
