What did you guys think of the movie? Got hit BAD in all the reviews..

But it was sweeping the box office and managed to make a hit for the rebel teenagers! I'll go to chinatown and get a replica for $5 :rofl:

Hate to say it, but I liked it... it pretty much pays homage to all of the old Freddy/Jason movies, and it also spoofs them.
Over-the-top violence; huge, gaping plot holes, and Freddy's one-liners... only thing it was missing was a cameo from Bruce Campbell!

If you've seen all the old Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street movies, you'll enjoy it like I did; just don't expect anything amazing.

i know the movie's called freddy vs jason...but are they actually battling each other or they teaming up to kill us all?

Don't spoil it! It's just cool to see that the movies of the 80s are being recreated again. I think everyone 20+ grew up knowing Freddy and Jason as the two biggest names in horror movies.

I think I'll check out Freddy vs. Jason after I get back to Kingston. Kind of want to see it now, but can't seem to get my lazy ass to the theatre...
