Early Christian churches were not churches (Buildings) at all.
The "church" was the followers! A collective of folk who believed in Christ!
They were simply people holding meetings or gatherings in homes or even at a rock on a nearby hill or some such place.

P.S. It's a good thing I ran a google to make sure I was spelling that correctly, I almost wrote "Jesus was a splunker", which would have, no doubt, offended some...
