Alright, I have to get a bit more serious about selling my caR. I'm moving out to Victoria in September and I want to pick up an STi before I head out. The only trades I am interested in are for an STi, E46 M3, S2000 or 350Z plus cash on my end of course.
I purchased this car about 18 months ago in stock form. It had faded paint, chipped paint on the front end and minor pinhead sized rust starting on the surface of the rear quarters. In August of last year, I took it into Calgary Honda's bodyshop where the entire car was resprayed and all of the signs of rust were taken care of. This work cost me $7800 and I can provide a receipt. 2 months later, the caR was hit on it's front end in a parking lot, only damaging the bumper and the hood. I decided to do a 96 spec-R JDM front on it at this point and I purchased all the parts at Speedtech and had the work performed at National Collision. This cost me $5400 and again, I can provide the receipt. The caR was then parked in storage for the winter.
It is 97R #00481 and currently has 184,xxx kms on it. It has a clean title, with no accidents on carfax. Mechanically, it runs perfect, with all maintenance up to date. I had an inspection performed last summer and it passed with flying colors. The only minus I can think of is that it burns a bit of oil at high RPMs, as all Type-R's do.
Cosmetically, it is great overall. The paint is flawless. I would rate the exterior as a 9, because the lip came with a crack in it and there are a couple of MINOR dents. I will also include brand new front and rear JDM Integra Type-R 'H' badges as well as a new JDM rear 'HONDA' badge. I would rate the interior as an 8 because of minor sun fade on the tops of the rear seats and minor bolster wear. This car is in far better condition than almost any other 11 year old car out there and I have babied it.
I have performed a few minor, tasteful modifications to the caR. It has Mugen front and rear strut bars, a J's Racing C-pillar bar and a JDM 23mm rear sway bar to help stiffen the car and keep it steady through the curves. It has a J's racing oil cap, Spoon high pressure radiator cap and Spoon reservoir covers to dress the engine bay up a bit. It has a 320mm Personal Neo Grinta steering wheel on a Momo hub, red Mugen shift knob, Mugen sports pedals, JDM red stitch shift boot, JDM armrest delete w/ 98 spec-R badge and brand new floormats. It also has the OEM optional security system w/ keyless entry. The only modifications to the exterior other than the JDM front are JDM Honda window visors and 15" gunmetal Buddy Club P1 rims with Spoon lugnuts. The OEM SRS steering wheel, OEM armrest with badge, OEM pedals original floormats and OEM white 15" rims w/ winter tires are all included in the sale.
