I dont suppose they have to be, I'm new to this HDMI thing, as I've said, I'm just hooking up the PS3 to the TV, do I need 1.3 or 1.2 or etc..?and how much

just buy at monoprice.com, delivery takes about a week. futureshop sells hdmi cables for over $60 usually

I recently purchased a Panasonic 50" 1080P plasma and the Panasonic Blu-ray player. I haven't purchased an HDMI cable to hook them up yet, but what should I look for in a cable? I've been to Bestbuy, but I'm not paying $100 for a HDMI cable for something I will rarely use. Any help I'd really appreciate!
