A tech-savvy White Plains woman whose apartment was burglarized solved the crime herself after she was able to log on to her stolen laptop, photograph one of the suspects with it and get photos of another, police said

According to another story the perps have already contacted the victim a couple times and are now being charged for that.

I wonder how that could have happened.

I kinda like how she used a remote login and got pics tho.

didnt the guys think something was fishy when a pic program opens up and starts taking pics of you?

Not sure how that app works but there is a difference between remote control of the computer and just remotely logging in. Some apps allow you to login to your machine but not take control of it where a person sitting at the computer can see what you are doing

She would have turned on ichat probably and turned on the cam...then taken screenshots cause photobooth would have had a big pic of the guy right in front of him.

I moved to Atlanta last August and then moved to New York in December. Went and picked up my car from Atlanta in April so I live in Yonkers now and I was working in New York City for a while. And I just signed a lease for an apartment in Calgary for July 1, I move around a lot.

Frias and Shahikian were arrested last year on charges of criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, after police recovered 3 pounds of marijuana worth about $7,500 in a Jeep they were in. The dispositions of their cases were not immediately available.

That doesn't sound right... caught with 3lb of pot and out a year later?... in the US??!
