Dont want to spend $15 a drink, where else is a good place for drinks.

Besides gambling and drinking for free

Go to rite-aid or whatever it is, if it is still open. I was buying bottles of liquor for $9 because they were going out of business or something, they're probably closed now though.

Fix at Bellagio is a good place if you want to get some drinks before the bar, not too expensive, cool place with beautiful women and great service!

me and a buddy had this thing going on at montecarlo just at the entrance and in harrahs i think it was, there are VLTs built into the counter at the bar island and we would put say.. 10$ in and play pennie poker.

the woman at the bar would give use rum and cokes non stop and we just tipped her 2 $ everytime she brought one.

the key is to pretend like you are playing VLTs, but your really just hitting a blank spot on the screen.

so basically you pay for 2 $ rum and cokes until you run out of money on the VLT (10$ at pennie poker lasts a loooong)

or goto the liquor store next to walgreens in front of the montecarlo and buy some cheap yankee beer

^ i did the same, but only tipped $1 a drink.

you can only order 1 drink at a time, to keep the flow, order another when she drops one off...that way ur never out

If you are an anti-baller like me you can get yourself pretty drunk playing the penny slots at one of the downtown casinos.
I like the las vegas club for it's outgoing dinginess.

EDIT: If you don't want to gamble, you can stop off ay one of the drug stores on the strip, or there are a couple downtown and buy yourself a case of beer. Or Slots-a-Fun is probably the cheapest place to buy from a bar, but I find it creepy in there.

I thought he said other than the free drinks?

Standing in line at Pure I used to get free drinks, not sure if they still do that.

the bartender told us that 10dollars was the minimum you could put in to the vlts built into the bar to get free drinks. If they see you put in aything less your going to have to pay

Casino Royale is pretty cheap, $1 margaritas and $1 bottled beer, and you don't need to be gambling for that. I can't remember the brand but it was good. Also their minimum buy in's on most tables was pretty cheap.

O'Shea's has cheap beers usually.

You can do the above mentioned VLT tricks but I found waiting around sometimes was a pain in the ass. The best casino in my opinion to do that in is Imperial Palace just because it's smaller and the wait staff comes around more often. They did charge for Red Bull from what I can remember when I ordered a Red Bull and Vodka though.

Otherwise your only other option is to do what everyone else mentioned and hit a liquor store or a convenience store on the strip and buy some booze. It's hella cheap and you can mix your own.

non related to drinking in vegas, but when i was in caesars palace shopping, this guy comes up and says

'hey we're compiling our guest list for the club tonight would you like to come?, it's VIP'

and me and my friend are like fk ya, VIP in Vegas, whooooo!!, we show up at 10ish and there is a line for regular entrees and a line for VIP! the line for VIP was longer than the regular line so we hopped into that, but had to pay cover.

oh and they weren't serving drinks :dunno:

Bullshit, there are tons of cheap spots to buy alchol on the strip in casinos. Go to a more vegas centric forum and you'll find them. My suggestion is those tall margarita things everyone carries around. Man those things get you ripped
