Comes with orignal box, hard leather case, lens hood (not pictured). Glass is in mint condition, no scratches.

That is awesome lens, and most people will match it with 16-35 .. so no benifit for the newer 24-70 over this 28-70!

Sharp Sharp Sharp lens, great smooth boken, and decent colour, it is as good as the 24-70! :thumbsup:

just wondering... does the lens hood cause any vignetting at 28mm?

i'm thinking it doesn't, but i'm just curious cause i've never owned a lens where the hood doesn't go on the very front of the lens, especially when the front glass moves.

The 28-70mm, rather than the newer 24-70mm, is a deadly-sharp lens. The formulation on it is much cleaner than the newer version, in the eyes of most of the people I've had the chance to talk to about it. There were quite a few of them, too.

Nope, none at all... The hood is caved in on the sides..
