I tried googling this thing, a Pioneer PDP-R04U and it's a Media receiver or something:

It's the control unit for Pioneer plasma displays. Basically all your A/V connections go into the unit, and two big cables go into the TV. For a nice and clean install, but was made for a specific model of Pioneer TV.

Best bet is to ebay it. You'll need to find very specific buyers...

For the original playstation, does it have the expansion port on the back? The big wide ass one thats opposite of the power supply and such?

Just wondering if you still had the Pioneer unit? I have a nice 50inch widescreen TV that was left over from the theives, and they took the unit and all stereo stuff. Now it's a huge doorstop without it. Let me know if you do, and what we can work out on shipping to Ontario, or if you're not interested. Thanks either way.
