moved to general car talk :).

What city did you run in? Must be pretty high up in elevation to only hit 105mph trap speeds in the S55. I'm hitting 107mph in my SLK32 at 3700ft elevation.

Mo-Kan Dragway... elevation 700ft. The S55 should be capable of Mid to high 12's at about 112mph :).

Hey
I had my trunk full of luggage (and wifes, daughters and mine) and in addition I had all the stuff my wife could pile un in the back seat during a road trip. I left the A/C turned on because it was hot as hell (91 degrees with high humidity). I only ran one time because I did not want to piss off their message board. These guys were really super and I wanted go to along with with their deal.

I had the feeling I could of ran a sub 13 run, but I would have had to unload the car and let the temp cool down a bit.

Race City won't let you pass tech with loose pubic hair in the car,and this guy raced with a TRUNKFUL of luggage...

I found the comments about folks driving in Texas WITHOUT A/C and racing with the A/C on highly amusing . I though Texans were tough !! Turns out they're Merc drivin' , latte-sipping wimps !! ;)

I guess the stage coaches had a/c too ! :D

LOL !! Just having a little fun with ya... :bigpimp:

hehe, totally depends on the track. Race city follows NHRA rules, so they check everything. There are tracks in the states where they're not sanctioned, and people run like 11's without rollbars or helmets :).
