I recently got my 2B license and want to purchase a sports bike. Other than some initial basic training, I have totally no experience and not much knowledge about bikes. Can anyone suggest a good sports bike for a starter bike that will also let me grow into it a bit? I am interested in one that looks great and offers excellent performance? But I do not want to have too much of a bike as my first one.

Thanks

At least he's asking the question before going out and buying a 1000 and killing himself.

I don't know much about bikes, but I think a 600CC or less bike is what you want to start off with. I'll let someone else add to this.

Up top!
Edit: haha sorry I didn't mean to be such an ass, just the way I look at bikes is if I got one with that much power I'd be scared shitless, and probably kill myself, so I would do exactly what the OP is doing.
