I need help with a spreadsheet of mine for work. What i need to do is have a summary of what to order from who on a another page in the spreadsheet.

What to order is driven by max's and min's. I would like the information taken from the order area to be compiled on another page with the information of where to order that product from.

Its a cude way to track my inventory but i need it to be idiot proof so my guys can order consumables when i am away for holidays.

good luck with that..

thats a fair bit of programming and not many people will do your work for you.. we could help but i'm not sure anyone would do all that work for nothing

why not do it in MS Access instead?

I understand that of course and i am not looking for someone to "do my work for me" as you would put it. I am looking for someone to make some changes or even tell me the procedure for doing it as i am not familiar with the more advanced uses of Excel. This is a last minute loose end i have to tie up before i leave today. Thanks for the help however!

Im going to respond to the PM's i have received (looks like someone wants to help adam!) and get back the information requested.

And as far as access i have ZERO experiance with it and would have to start from scratch, hence having to get someone to "do the work for me"

google mr.excel and post on that forum

people reply on there almost instantly and its usually very helpful :thumbsup:
