i just changed from an ide to an sata burner. I installed the new burner and did the filmware and everything. It works great burns reads the cds and dvds but the problem i am having is that when i restart the computer windows detects it has an new hardware and if i click on don't show this message for this device again i lose the writter and the computer cannot read it. I am thinking it may be something in the bios i have to change since it is going from an ide to an sata. How do i get that windows to not detect it has an new device? The device manager shows it has all good no problems there until i click on don't show this message for this device option. Any ideas would be nice thanks.
