is it worth it to buy a used car in the US, particularly a mitsubishi 3000GT, than here in canada? if so how would i go about doing it?

Probably the ones in your signature.

It's probably not worth it to cross the border for a used car, most of the savings are on new ones. The only real used deals are on Mercedes or BMW or Porsche, mostly the higher end imports. 3000GTs are pretty cheap anyway, the gearboxes pretty much fall out of them after you leave the lot.

Not financially worth it to import unless you're looking at $25k+ before import.. Even then that's like break even point..

And on benz, no savings until you go to a newer S or SL.
