So i might be looking into buying one but i just want to know whether the government is actually trying to outlaw them or if its just talk?

Talk, for now.

However, knowing this overly liberal country, one day it will come to pass that RHD drive is outlawed or the law is pushed back 25 years, and it will be passed without any consideration towards public opinion. Just skewed statistics from the media and unknowledgable public opinion letting the leaders affect issues they have no true experience or relation to.

Call me bitter but that's how I see it. Enjoy RHD while you can, that would be my saying.
