"We incorporated some Canadianisms such as "eh," "Traw-na," "Cal-gry," and, of course, "aboot."

I haven't heard that when I worked siesmic, but, I think I said that fishing once.

I let my line drop to the bottom, and dragged up 'a boot.'

yeh, not sure where that came from, or "ruff" as opposed to roof... good ole American ignorance assumptions.

But i have used this service, seems to work fine, and I've never noticed any charges on my phone bill.

it does have one problem and its not with the system its with TELUS and some other companies, the system after it transferes you shows your cell phone trunk number, 403-540-8000 would be telus in calgary its not passing ANI or a better version of it.

it works fine from a land line

Telus does need to fix its Caller id problem when calling NON telus 800 numbers.

The first time I heard a full out newfie talking when i just showed up on siesmic i just stared in awe. I honestly couldnt understand a single word he said. After a while though i caught myself speaking it too, kinda scarry.

Ya, you got to go to Newfoundland to hear some of the things that get blamed on Canada. Though they're the only province I've noticed that haven't adopted the, "Eh." It's only mainlanders that say that. When I first got off the island to go to school in Nova Scotia, I had a lot of people asking me to repeat myself. So I'd say it louder only to find out the shit I was saying just never made any sense to anyone else. My vocabulary got smaller that day.
