Crazy crash

was on my way home today looks like the van got t boned this was on blackfoot and heritage drive. There was def someone still trapped in the van when i drove by!

Wow... i saw an accident there last week... bad spot... That left turn from heritage to blackfoot is pretty sketchy... a lot of people don't judge the speed of oncoming traffic and just go...

Last month i was waiting behind this truck and he decides to go, and a car was just inches from smoking his bumper

I saw that at around 2:15, by that time it looked like everyone had safely exited the van, but I can't say for sure. I think the person in the silver cougar was sitting there by choice, no idea why. None of the paramedics or firefighters seemed overly concerned about any major injuries, hopefully everyone was okay. I think it looked a lot worse than it actually was just because the van had tipped over.

We definitely need more advance turns and/or eliminate left turns on solid greens at some intersections, it seems that a lot of the time Calgary drivers simply aren't up to the task of making intelligent decisions on their own...
