Is there anywhere to go seadooing close to Calgary? I know there's Sylvan Lake but looking for other alternatives. I would also need to be renting a sea-doo.

There's some slews in and around Calgary that you could consider taking them on, Gull Lake, Pine Lake, etc... You can usually rent them somewhere near the lake itself.

We always boat at Little Bow Provencial Park. It's about 1h 15m from calgary right to the lake. Not a fan of Sylvan/Gull/Chestermere lakes. Also if your willing to make a 2.5hr drive or so, Lake Windermere is pretty awesome and there is a place in town that rents SeaDoos for a very reasonable price.

Glennifer Lake which is west of Bowden (1-1/2 hrs North of Calgary) and they have seadoo rentals.

Sea doo's are only fun if you have atleast 2 of them going. Just rent them from all season and go to chestermere. Ghost lake is better but the water is extremely cold. Chesteremere now charges $40 to launch anything now.
