Hi everyone,
Can anyone help me understand the differences between a sports touring bike, a pure sports bike and a touring bike? Is a sports touring bike something like a touring bike that looks sporty? What is the exact definition? It sounds appealing, but I do not want something like a cruiser. <Touring Honda, etc>
What Sports Touring Bikes are known as the best?

it basically boils down to riding position and gearing
Touring:

uprightish seating position, big front end on it to protect you from the elements, generally will be geared to cruise at 120 at low rpms for LONG periods of time. space for your luggage :P
Sport-Touring:

more aggressive riding position, slightly lower windscreen, smaller front end...over all a much lighter bike...still not geared super aggressively.
