It appears from the pic that the owner mistakenly installed a LHD spoiler on a RHD car causing high speed unstability.

maybe it was the opposite? too much down force on the back caused from a quick acceleration causing the front end to raise off the ground and drive uncontrollably over that curb

probably had some work done at an lhd mechanic:dunno:

Now now, we're not even sure this is RHD or not.

But I'm pretty sure it is. I don't think I've seen a lhd one with those stupid huge twin tips (why do z32 always have this?). Only way to not make a vg30 sound like a bag of ass maybe?

Continue.

If they are on here, cue the excuse train.

LOL is the guy in the background maybe the driver? he looks kinda pleased with himself... i almost see a huge smile.

on another note... id love to know what the front bumper looks like after going over a curb/dvider like that.

I'm with you. Clearly poorly engineered that way. :nut:

You may wish to consider a username change. Also, you provide more ammo for the statement you attempted a sarcastic response to.

That was kind of the point.

OBVIOUSLY.

You really think I didn't know that would happen?

Actually I'm pretty sure that's a LHD because the tail lights look like the north american kind.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure. Of course, I suppose it could also be a JDM with USDM tail lights.. *shrug*

Regardless, LHD or RHD, I have seen this 4 times now,

And it's funny each time haha.

It doesn't matter what car you take that corner at. It's a fucking tricky corner. It's one of the few corners in this town that scare me when trying to take that at anywhere near full tilt.

My bro still outcorners me in that corner.

You're thinking about the '99 JDM tail lights, otherwise they were the same...

It's a RHD. I saw that car on McNight Blvd this afternoon. Surprisingly only the driver's side (RHD driver side corner :) ) is smashed and the lip is still intact.

Not really. All I ever said was that you did the same thing every "JDM-tyte" car owner does when people generalize that you all drive like douchebags, and tried to concoct a witty, sarcastic retort about how people crash LHD cars, too.

Which you did.

Regardless of whether this car is RHD or not.

So with Skylines being as common as Sunfires and all RHD drivers being reckless as well as inexperienced, why don't we see more of these threads on beyond if those stereotypes were true?

Yeah, really doesn't matter RHD or LHD, as it's the responsibillity of the driver and driver skill to maintain the car. Hope the driver's walked away alright.

Besides heavyD's comment confirming the RHD issue, from the pic, I would be sure it's a JDM, since the place is offset from the centre. Japanese plates are a little bigger and without correction, the Canadian plates are offset.

I don't.

I hope the guy broke both ankles so he can take a bit of time out of the drivers seat to smarten up.

Stupidity like this should be punished with a suspension of driving priviledges. Give the tool a bit of time to think back on how stupid it was to do that, and possibly think twice next time. :thumbsdow

Yea seriously what corner is this? I know pretty much the whole length of 16th except the haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard NE and this doesn't look familiar. I'm working near the intersection of 16th and memorial in the SW right now too

It's on southbound Shaganappi (sp??) going under 16th ave NW. Just west of foothills hospital.
