How about some rims and tires with the best roadrubber out there? I got the rims from someone with a golf, so you know they fit. They are a Motegi FF5, with Bridgestone RE01r rubber. Look it on tire rack. Best road grip tire except R compound. $800 including rims and tires, which are mounted together. Tires are about 5-6/32's which is about 60%, they have some wear/marks from useage at track, but will be a great combo for someone who knows what they are doing.
