true but in the comments section someone confirms that you get a picture taken from the front as well as the back... youd think that the bright flash would allert some people... plus the MASSIVE yellow signs... plus the clearly visible cameras...

Seriously tho, it's not that bad. The area is apparently a 110 zone (so like our highways), and the WORST she got clocked at was 150. I dunno how that would classify as criminal speeding or reckless driving.

Or it can be seen as proof that they do work. Massive fine and loss of license. Then good luck getting insurance to cover you once you get it back. Bad driver off of the road, problem solved, although in a delayed fashion :D

Do you think Alberta will implement having license plate on the front so they can nab more people speeding. Most of the time with photo radar, you just slow down the moment you see the radar van. If it was taking a picture from the front, it would get the driver as well as the license plate and give you no time to slow down.
