Hey peoples,

Next week I'm going out to celebrate with some friends. Anyone recommend a pub/lounge on 17th?

I know all the major one's (Melrose, Classic Jacks, Ship and Anchor, etc)

Are there any hidden places that you guys would recommend for a birthday bash?

Thanks!

1410 is a cool place. Kind of small though.

That's why i like it. You innevitably end up making friends with the folks around you. It's a good vibe. Music is allright.

I really like Ming. I dont like the patrons there (very snobbish I find, and I detest snobs), but the servers are good, and the food is fantastic. Apparently its owned by the same owners as Melrose. :dunno:
Beer isn't too expensive. Its a good deal considering the location and atmosphere.
I guess its more of a "bar" then a pub all things considered however.

Melrose are sweet

yardhouse is awesome as well...food pretty good ... however the only reason why friends and i go there is because of the tall drinking beer glass we can get from them.... overall its a good place to hang out and such
