Is it hard to install an audio deck by yourself or is it better to get someone else to professionally install it? How much time would it take on average to do it by yourself?

its pretty easy to do your self
without experience it should take you a little over a hour

What kind of tools would I need to complete the install? Just the basic screw driver and what not?

screwdriver... pliers (for bending the mounting bracket)... that's about it, it's pretty simple...

wire strippers ,wire cutters , red butt connectors and crimps
these will help too
