I am pretty sure there is not much you can do as it was absorbed. Maybe some kind of polish or coating. Maybe spill more alcohol on the rest of the granite?:dunno:

Granite color?
When was it installed?
Can you confirm if the installers sealed it after the install?
Red wine / vodka / rum etc?

Absolute black? (tiny grey flecks)

Black Galaxy? (shiny coppery gold flecks?)

If it is Absolute black, it is generally the most dense granite available.

If your condo is brand new, you may want to do some digging on who did the granite work. Explain your story and have them fix it.

I opened a granite shop with a friend a few years ago, and we had a similar situation with an Absolute Black island top. We ended up having to replace the top as the installers did not seal it/ or seal it well enough.

There is a 3 in 1 cleaner available, although I highly doubt it will fix your problem of a penetrated stain.

** NEVER use Windex or amonia based products to clean granite. Soapy warm water is more than sufficient. **

I did this when I got green dye on my granite and it worked great. Just need to wet the granite first before putting the paste on. It sucks the stain out!

I'm planning to seal my granite too. I'm assuming the granite wasn't sealed when I bought my house (judging by the other obvious oversights by the previous owner). It should work. I bought a can of stuff from Home Depot but no time yet.

Once the stain is removed, yes seal it. It should stop future stains. You should reseal every 6-10 months. Sealers can be purchased at any granite shops.

Do not use car wax!!!! Perephin wax is what gets used when shops use wax. Wax is more of a cheat to get edge profiles super shiny when the shaper/polisher does not have enough skill with his pads to polish it appropriately.
