Well my opinion is the title of the thread. I can't beleive this guy went to get his shotgun, locked and loaded it while on the phone with the operator, killed the 2 robbers, and came back to chat with the operator...

He should have at least tried to shoot them in the legs or hold them at gun point instead of just shooting away.

I mean I'm not shedding any tears for the criminals but its not worth killing someone for small things like that either.

Who said it was small things though? If someone breaks into my house I'm not going to think to try and resort to the least harmless method and make peace with the dude. I'm going to make sure the prick stops what he's doing and is unable to harm me. I'm not saying that what he did is right or wrong but unless you were there witnessing it; there is no way you could say there was a peaceful solution.

Well it did say shotgun.. So if using birdshot, yeah legs would be easy, along with 80% of the rest of them... ha... Even with a slug you *could* easily shoot some legs,.. But I doubt thats what he was wanting to do.

No I agree, don't kill them, leave them disabled for life. Pretty hard to rob a place in a wheelchair.
