good to see my usual haunts are all up and up. Even one vietnemese place that always seemed like it would be gross in the kitchen came out with only one violation since Jan.

Yeah man. Don't read too much into it. Until someone gets extremely ill, company has to pay heavy fines, and shit hits the media. You will be OK.

3 violations isn't anything to be concerned with, especially the one about lighting fixtures...

You sound like a restaurant owner? :dunno:

But I do agree that most people don't get sick even if the restaurant has multiple violations. These are just the standards that are in place to try to keep the restaurants up to code as possible.

^^

Yes.

Also note, once the restaurant is inspected, you have approximately 1-2 weeks to fix all the violations. It is those businesses who ignore the CHR, forcing them to take it to the courts and media, those owners deserve to get fined and negative publicity. That's why I said until shit gets blown up, don't get that worked up over some little things as the owner/employees will make an effort to clear up any and all violations.

Another thing to note is whether the violations are marked "Critical" or not. I don't think you should worry about non-critical ones too much...

So that's why U&Me was so good every time I went. haha j/k

Man that place got the shaft, that's a long ass list of violations.

They've made so much money off of their dim sum and late night bar crowd, they can afford to reno and make everything super clean.
