Do they pay any baes salary? So you eat a slice of bread if you don't happen to sell anything........ or is it pure commission base?

What are the odds for a newbie to have to a big fat $0 for the first month for "pay cheque"

Any other info. would be greatly appreciated!

There's a base pay, but it's enough for bread but not much else :)

You really need the commission if you plan on living.
When I first started, I sold a car in 3 days, boss was abit
upset cause he thought I should be learning first instead
of selling cars.
I didn't plan to have bread for myself, g/f and the kids back then.
I no longer sell though, but I could do well, if you don't get
stabbed in the back.:D

Friend of mine started selling cars and had a "ok" salary for the first 3 months ($2000/month) with no commission, then was dropped to a lower salary but with commission on top.

Really depends on dealerships. I would look into it with each individual dealership.

Good luck!

When I worked at Kramer in 2004 we worked straight commission no other source of income no matter how dead it was....
