It'll be my 1st time at the track with the vette. The goal is 12.## at 111-113mph on street tires. We will see! :burnout:

If Race City didn't fix their timing junk, there may not be a Secret Street tonight. I'd say buy some new shit that works, but hey, pretty hard for them to justify that when the place is gone next year.

At least I have bad DA to blame my times on in the Vette, although I was only .05 seconds from my goal. Actually, I couldn't get traction. There's definitely some MT Street ETs in my future.

I had fun tonight too. First time out with the completed EG.

Running 9psi, really conservative tune. Pulled out 4 deg total timing on the top end.

Dyno'd today: 232whp @7200 and 182wtq @6000. With full timing It should see 250whp. Not bad for a little single cam :D

Glad I decided to go! Started out with a 15.24 on my first pass cause I wanted to take it easy, heh, totally bogged on the line. Happy with my best of 13.688 @ 98.7 with a 1.882 60 ft. I think that 60 foot time is pretty good as far as they go, the rest were shit lol.

Talked to a couple guys, had a good time. I really wanted another 13 second time but only got the one. That black Vette sounded great, anyone got a video of it?

I was in the left lane and my buddy (ZX-12) apparently launched way too hard, spun the tires and was pretty close to dumping right off the line. Apparently he wheelied out of the mess though.

I tried running Mohawk 94 one summer a few years back. Especially since at the time I was doing a lot of Secret Streets and wanted to see if it made a difference.

Well the difference was that the car seemed to run like shit and I got terrible mileage. I just went back to running Shell Premium and it ran perfect. I haven't used it since. If it matters, the only one I used to fill up at was the Mohawk they just tore down at 16th and Edmonton Trail.

i think husky/mohawk 94 octane is not that great. i find that i knock more on 94 octane vs shell 91. i think husky adds stuff to their gas to boost their octane levels.

It is.... er, well at least WAS easily the best fuel in the city. We tested it many times, and could run more boost, more timing etc.

I dunno what happened yesterday. Could be just that station, water or crap in their tank etc... ran into 2 other guys that specifically bought 94 there and had problems.

That track was soooo slick compared to two weeks ago. I could only muster a 13.8 with a 60' of 2.135, the last time i was out i managed two 13.6 passes, with a 60' of 2.017. I guess it could be driver error, but i didnt do anything different, and 3 people i talked to were having trouble hooking up as well. Was a good night all and all tho, cant complain, stock sr20det in an s14 with a full interior running high 13s, Awesome (=

I've tested mohawk 94 (from Bow trail) vs Shell 91, they are roughly equal as far as performance goes.

I was even having trouble getting tracking in my S4, and I have AWD!
