BMW's with high KM

I was wondering if a BMW with 250+k on it would still run well and have life left in it.

Like any other car except high repair bill!

My 92' 325is has 256 000kms on it. Ive had the motor since 90 000kms, I drive it hard and I sprayed it last yr with no problems.

Rings are now starting to go though, she smokes a bit up top. Bu other then that it runs strong, and repair bills are cheap for these if u know the right ppl.

In the late nineties a friend of mine drove an early 80s 735i, it had 700,000 km on it, original motor and transmission. He was the second owner, it had been maintained at BMW from new. When he eventually sold it, it was still running strong.

it really depends if previous owners took good care of it or not, but still 250+ is a lot and you should be looking forward to spend a pretty penny for their maintenance with such high km. If you can do almost all the labor yourself i would say yes if you would have to take it to mechanic, big NO

Like any car with high miles if it was taken care of properly and by the right people it will be fine.

check its records... see how far back they go... and get it inspected as you would any car and youll be fine.
