hey guys was thinking about buying a EP3 (civic SiR hatch) the one im looking at is painted really badly i mean when you open the door you can clearly see that it was a cheap paint job, under the hood as well. i was just wondering if i picked this up and wanted to get it all painted again, under the hood and all, where would you guys take your cars for paint and if any of you have had experience and know a ball park figure of what this should cost that will be greatly appreciated, looking for a basic paint maybe white or red nothing metallic or anything if that matters

jon... check out screamin' paintworks they are really highly rated.

itll probably cost atleast a few grand for a good professional job, but youd be best to just give them a call... theyll be able to let you know over the phone.

A newer car like that with a shitty paint job was probably painted to hide some serious bodywork.

I would see no other reason for a car that new to need a new paint job. You're most likely looking $5000 or somewhere near that for a good paint job, and thats probably not taking in to account what might be found underneath that shit paint. I'd say spend a bit extra and buy a better car to start with.

the car is being purchased of a friend that owns the dealership, the car fax on the car is clean and i believe it was painted because the previous owner didn't like the original color of the car (that puke gold) i will take a look at the body allot closer before purchasing of course, but you do make a good point, i think if it was something serious though it would be on the car fax would it not?

car fax is for the US so your better off running a Car Proof... which will show you canadian information... any work done to the car will only be on there if it was claimed on insurance, or else it wont be there... make sure you get a very good inspection done if you suspect any problems.

if you want a nice ep3, with no body damage, original paint and all jdm parts pm me, if you want garbage, that will result in you paying an additional $5000 to have a stock car that has been painted twice with $0 resell value, buy the car you are looking at

im guessing the "orange/red" ep3 from the second car?

stay away

ohh EP3's, I barely see them driving around. Why are they all hiding? I wish I had two grand for a new paint job.

i used to see it twice a day sitting on the second car lot right off of macleod. Just by looking at the colour i knew it was a piece. Also saw it in the bargain finder and auto trader when i was trying to price out my car.

It probably sold at auction for $5000-$6000

tank is empty, has probably been sitting like that for months.

bye bye fuel pump

Odometer says 132,000kms. The ad says 133,000kms. I've seen this thing being driven in traffic on blackfoot, so most likely a salesman threw on a dealer plate and took it around for a ride

AWESOME SALE PRICE
