Is it worth getting a 300zx because i heard that the parts for them are really expensive incase anything breaks, or is that just some bull thats goin around?

yes parts are expensive.

I bought a fairlady a few years back. incredibly fun cars to drive, however, for the next year, almost every paycheck i made went into the car for repair/maintenance costs

Agreed, don't get one as a daily driver... they can be pretty high maintenance, the simple fact is that they are getting up there in age...
